William R. Bors Jr., 79, joined his Heavenly Father February 15,2021 after a lengthy illness. He was born December 1, 1941 in Lorain, Ohio, the son of William and Helen (Gladis) Bors. Bill graduated from Vermilion High School, class of 1960.

He served in the US Navy briefly receiving a medical discharge. Upon discharge from the Navy, Bill worked for Sherwin Williams for four years later retiring from BF Goodrich/Lubrizol after 44 years of service. He was known to his co-workers as Bronco Billy or White Lightning. He was a life-long fan of Cleveland Sports and the Ohio State University and had a love for classic cars. He enjoyed making people laugh with his corny jokes. He was a life time member of Amvets Post 22 and was an active church
member serving on church council and assisting in the children’s ministry prior to his illness.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters, Carol and Diane, and grandson Caleb Snyder. Surviving in addition to his wife, Karen L. (Nirschel), are his daughters Cindy Berger of Indiana, Toni Snyder of Toledo, Lani Seymore (Lamont) of Olmsted Falls; sons, William John (LeAnn) of Texas, Richard Anthony (Kristen) of Norwalk and Robert David of Lake Tahoe; grandchildren, Nicholas and Mitchell Berger of Indiana, Kyle (Erin) Snyder of Toledo, Jade Snyder (Vermilion) and Levi (Arianna) Snyder of Toledo; 5 great grandchildren.
