Carlos Mario Quintana, age 72 and a longtime resident of Lorain, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.


Carlos was born March 13, 1948 in Anasco, Puerto Rico to the late Emilio and Domitila (nee Garcia) Quintana.  In 1969 Carlos moved from Puerto Rico to Philadelphia where he worked in the construction industry and factories until he moved to Lorain in 2001.  While residing in Lorain he had worked at greenhouses in Lorain County.  Carlos loved to cook for his family, enjoyed listening to Puerto Rican music, and had a green thumb for gardening.


Survivors include his daughter Debbie E. Rosalez of Lorain, his four grandsons; Carlos Rivera of Lorain, Joshua Rivera of Elyria, Antonio Rosalez Jr. and Juan Rosalez, both of Lorain , and eight great grandchildren.


Carlos was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna Louise (nee Peters) Quintana, his parents, and all of his brothers and sisters.


Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
