Donna L. Beyer of Camden Township, died at Mercy New Life Hospice, Lorain,
after a short illness with head and neck cancer.
Donna was born in 1957 in Salisbury, Maryland, to Donald and Judith
Hudson-Townsend. At age nine her mother moved to Camden Township, Ohio
where she married Leon Gibson who was the best step-father a girl could have
ever been blessed to have. She graduated from Firelands High School in
1975, where she met the love of her life, Art. They were married for 42
years. Donna was a registered nurse and had several jobs but her most
rewarding was the job she had at WG Nord for 25 years. This job allowed her
to teach clients many things important to caring for their health and mental
health by getting them to trust and accept her. While there, she developed
many co-worker friends she still stayed in close contact with, especially
Madelyn, Sue, and Jean. Donna's hobbies included travel, listening to
music, gardening, caring for her many animals throughout the years and
Surviving is the love of her life Art, their son Chris and his wife Jessica,
grandchildren Avery Marie and Gavin Henry, sister Lenore Carver and her
husband Jeffrey, sister-in-law Carol Beyer, and six nieces and nephews.
Donna is also survived by her special four paws, Ellie, Clyde and Oreo.
