FREDERICK D. BROWN
Frederick (Fred) Douglas Brown, 73 of Lorain, passed away on October 9, 2021 at Kingston of Vermilion due to complications from a Heart Attack several months ago.
Fred was Born in Buffalo, NY. And moved to Lorain Ohio as a child. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 30 years retiring in 2001. Fred loved to have a good time. He loved Riding his Harley with the wind in his face and fishing on the lake. To him this was Freedom. That, and a good burger with a cold PBR.
To his family he was constant, gentle and silly. He was very laid back and exceptionally kind. Fred was generous always lending a hand or an ear. Fred loved his children unconditionally and spent quality time with them camping, fishing, racing, car shows, Roller Coaster Rides and of course motorcycle rides through the countryside.
Fred is survived by his brothers Gerald of Lorain, and Gordon (Kathy) of Norwalk, dear friend and ex- wife Victoria Rosado of Elyria, Children Laura (Tim) Dillon of Lorain, Tana (Darwin) Tomplait of TX., Shannon (Brian) Powers of Sheffield Lake., Melissa (Rodney) Tate of VA., Amanda (Trevor) Bixler of Vermilion, Arlin of Grafton, Justin of VA., and Kalyn of France. Fred also had 22 Grandchildren, Brett, Morgan, Samantha, Shawn, Natalie, Kahlie, Ty, Cassandra, Jessi, Alyssa, Autumn, Alexis, Alaina, Avalyn, Arlin, Arianne, Stellan, Jadyn, Kennedy, Justin II, Merrina, and Curran. He had 6 Great Grandchildren Lillyana, Xavier, Emerson, Lily, Garrett and Avery and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Albert and Alberta of Lorain, Father in-law Bill Lee Canterbury Sr. of Sheffield Village, Sister Anita Molly McQuate of Lorain, Son Shawn of Sheffield Lake and Granddaughter Ariel Elizabeth.
Funeral Services will be held at Andra’s Crematory & Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 3pm-6pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Lorain V.F.W. (Oberlin Ave.).
