Eduardo “Jun” Rios Jr., 67 of Lorain,  passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at home with his loving family around him. He was born December 29, 1953, in Ponce, Puerto Rico and came to Lorain in the early 80’s.   After settling here, he later became a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Puerto Rican Home. He retired from Allumalloy in Avon Lake as a laborer.


Jun enjoyed boxing, weightlifting, working on automobiles and spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.


He will deeply be missed by his loving wife Ana L. “Nina” Aponte-Rios, his wonderful children: Nelson Santiago, Aileen Cruz, Jenny Rios (Victor Campos), Eduardo “Junito” Rios (Candi Wilson), Eddie Rios, Angela “Mari” Guelen, Juan Carlos Guelen, Eduardo “Negro” Rios- Velazquez, Dana Montanez (Juan Cintron), Eduardo “Jun Jun” Rios (Zaida Rios); His sister’s Elba Ocasio, Maria-Luisa Ocasio, & Christina “Doris” Montanez, 29 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his father Eduardo Rios Sr., mother Juana “Juanin” Guelen, brothers Pedro Juan Ocasio and Heriberto Rios, sister Milagros Ocasio, and great grandson Samuel Allen Alicea.


His family will receive friends on Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 10am-12pm, with service from 12pm-1pm at Andras Crematory and Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue Lorain, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, OH.
