Donald Novosielski, age 80 and a longtime resident of Elyria, passed away at
his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 7, 2022.

He was born in Cleveland, September 16, 1942 to the late Joseph and Martha
(nee Bernaciak) Novosielski.  Donald attended North Ridgeville High School
and then enlisted in the United States Army serving in Germany.  He married
in 1963 and worked as a mechanic at the former Millbrook Bread in Cleveland.
Following Millbrook Bread he worked at General Motors Chevrolet Plant in
Parma.  Donald owned and operated his own trucking company named "Speedy
Trucking"  which he ran until retiring in 2005.  Throughout his life he
enjoyed fishing and working on engines.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years Joyce A. (nee Stone) Novosielski,
their four sons; Donnie of Elyria, Mark (Staci) of Elyria, Dan of Amherst,
Joe (Katie) of Oberlin, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and
his brother Joseph (Jan) of Hinckley.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his son Randy
(2011) and his sister Joan Plumley (2019).

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Andras
Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.  The funeral service
will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the mausoleum of Resthaven Memory
Gardens, 3700 Center Road, Avon.  Military rites will be conducted with
burial following in the Garden of Wisdom at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
