Daniel J. Maloy, age 58 and a longtime resident of Lorain, passed away
unexpectedly at Mercy Regional Medical Center on Friday, October 11, 2019.

He was born September 17, 1961, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and moved to
Lorain as a child with his family when his father became employed at Ford
Motor Company, Lorain.  Daniel was a graduate of the former Southview High
School, Lorain.  Throughout his life, he enjoyed football, especially the
Pittsburgh Steelers, playing lottery games, and most of all, he loved
spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Charla Kay (nee McCommas), their
children; Justin (Emily) Rangel of Lorain, Christi (Roy) Logan of Louisiana,
Anthony Maloy of Lorain, Devon Warren of Lorain, two grandsons; Charles
Rangel and Bailey Brown, three brothers; Bill Maloy of Kentucky, Mark
(Victoria) Maloy of Amherst, Thomas (Kristi) Maloy of Cleveland, his sister
Betty (Nick) Nichols of Lorain, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the
Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
