With great sorrow and sadness the Avolt family announces the unexpected
passing of our kind, brave, and caring daughter, sister, aunt, cousin,
niece, dog-mom, and friend, Jessica Avolt.

 

Born in Lorain, Ohio in 1991. She
was taken at the young age of 31 on March 3rd, 2023. Jessica is survived by
her mother Linda Avolt, her father William Avolt, her brother Chris Avolt,
her nephew Benjamin Avolt, her sister-in-law Caitlin Avolt, her dog Simba,
and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Jessica graduated from Amherst Steele High School in 2010 and received her
Bachelor’s Degree from Cleveland State University in 2014. She lived most of
her life in Amherst, Ohio and worked at Costco in Strongsville, Ohio.
Jessica loved art, music, and playing golf. She especially loved drawing and
painting. She loved her family and friends and spending as much time as
possible with them. She gave her dog Simba as much love as an animal can
receive. There was not an episode of Bob’s Burgers that was not watched at
least 5 times. She was truly the kindest, most sweet hearted,
brighten-a-room person you could meet.

 

It is nearly impossible to sum up
such a beautiful soul’s life in a couple of paragraphs.  “You may be gone from our

sight, but you will never be gone from our heart”

 

Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900
Broadway Avenue, Lorain from 5-8 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023.  There will
be a Celebration of Jessica’s life at 7:15 p.m.
