Joan M. Beran, age 64 and a resident of Sheffield Township, passed away
Friday, December 31, 2021 at UH EMH Medical Center, Elyria.

Joan was born in Lorain, June 11, 1957 to the late Donald and Martha (nee
DeChant) Beran.  She was a 1975 graduate of Avon High School.  Joan was
employed as a shipping clerk for 25 years at Thogus Products, Avon Lake and
then went on to work at Angelicus, Lorain from where she retired in 2021.
She loved her pet cat, going to flea markets, and attending Rockin' on the
River in Lorain.  Most of all, Joan enjoyed spending time with her friends.

Survivors include her daughter Kellie J. Beran of Missouri, granddaughter
Hannah Beran of Missouri, and her brother Ron Beran of Lorain.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her sister Donna
Shabdue, and brothers Jerry and Jim Beran.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 p.m., at the Andras Crematory
& Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
