Joyce E. Hampton (nee Fury), age 66 and a longtime resident of Lorain,
passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after
a brief illness.

Joyce was born in Pennsylvania, October 18, 1955 to the late John and Mary
(nee Maley) Fury.  She was a graduate of Vermilion High School.  Joyce
retired from the Ford Motor Company, Avon Lake Plant in 2020 where she had
been employed for 30 years working as a welder.  She enjoyed socializing,
camping, watching the sun rise and set, but most importantly she loved being
with her grandchildren whom she helped raise and were her life.

Survivors include her daughter Angela D. Rice, grandchildren; Alexander
Stout, Samantha Rice, Ariah Rice, sister Rose Baldwin (Dean), and brothers
Rick Fury (Wendy) and John Fury (King).

All services were private and arrangements were entrusted to the Andras
Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain
