OBITUARY

KAREN B. WOOTEN

The sunrise of Karen B. Wootten took place on April 22, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio
and her sunset came on Monday, November 7, 2022 at her home in Lorain
with her daughter by her side.  Karen passed away after a brief illness.

Karen was raised in Lorain and was a 1965 graduate of Admiral King High
School.  She also attended Lorain County Community College.  Karen retired
from United State Steel Corporation in 2003 following 30 years of
employment.  She enjoyed dancing, baking, playing cards, and was an arts and
crafts enthusiast.  Most importantly, Karen loved spending time with her
family and was known to have never met a stranger.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist church, United Steelworkers of
America Local 1104, and the Busch Club.

Survivors include her daughters LeeAnn Flint and Kelly M. Thomas,
granddaughters; Amber Aldridge (Joseph), Brittny Flint, Taylor
Wootten-Chapman, great grandchildren Joseph Aldridge and Kamya Smith,
brothers Larry Bootten, Bryan "Petey" Wootten (Theresa), Allan Wootten
(Tonia), and sisters Barbara Packer and Sylvia Wootten.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Dolores Wootten,
brothers Charles "Duffy" Wootten, Steven Wootten, an infant brother Baby Boy
Wootten, and his sisters Deborah Wootten and Cynthia Stewart.

At Karen's request, there will be no services held.  Her family will
celebrate her life in the Spring of 2023.
