Jacqueline “Jackie” D. Beam (nee Vorhees), age 54 and a resident of Sheffield Lake, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, July 1, 2019.


Jackie was born in Cleveland, June 14, 1965 to George A. and Patricia A. (nee Gallagher) Vorhees.  She was a graduate of Brookside High School.  Jackie was an employee of the A.J. Rose Company, Avon.  Formerly, she worked at York Industries, Elyria and 3M, Elyria, until they closed.  Jackie loved motor cycle riding, going to Put-In-Bay and walking the beaches, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.


Survivors include her daughter Amanda Stacknick of Illinois, son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Alyssa Beam of North Ridgeville, six grandchildren, her mother and step-father Patricia and Henry Wilfong of Sheffield Lake, brothers George Vorhees of Lima and Daniel Vorhees of Lorain, and her life companion Steve Horvath of Sheffield Lake.


Jackie was preceded in death by her father George A. Vorhees (1995).


Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Monday at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.  The will be a 7 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home.
