Martha Julia Kantor (nee Penzes), age 81 and a resident of Lorain, passed
away Sunday, March 12, 2023 after battling a brief illness.

Martha was born February 16, 1942 in Lorain to the late Frank and Julia
Penzes.  Martha graduated from Lorain High School and lived most of her life
in Lorain County.  She was employed at U. S. Steel, Lorain for a brief
period of time before beginning a career at Bendix as a Key Punch Operator
until that position was eliminated.  She then went on to work in Data Entry
until she retired.  Martha loved animals, mainly cats, watching sports, the
classic television shows, especially the Andy Griffith Show, and The Weather
Channel. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter Kimberly Moretz (Michael Molnar) of Amherst,
grandchildren Damian Moretz (Amanda) and Cody Moretz (Nicole), both of
Lorain, six great grandchildren; Chayse, Ryleigh, Alyson, Aubree, Addyson,
and Alex, as well as her beloved cat Boots.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4-8 p.m., at the Andras
Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
