Robert Leslie Thomson, 75 of Sheffield Township, Ohio, passed away, Sunday,
March 7, 2021 in Mercy New Life Hospice due to a vicious battle of stage four
Lung cancer & COPD.


Robert was born in Amherst Hospital to George Thomson
(Scotland) and Eleanor Grace Patterson (PA). He was one of six. His siblings are
George “Buck” C. Thomson (Wife Sherry Thomson (Dallas, Texas), Beverly
Cambell (Florida), Elaine Mingee (Florida), Linda Iglewski (Florida) and Judy
Swedbyrg (Florida).


From day one Robert was a true outdoorsman. At a very
young age he loved spending time with his Grandparents (George Clark Thomson
Sr./ Elizabeth Grieve Bell Thomson) at their farm. Growing up he became a
member of the Boy Scouts where his love for hunting & fishing began. There was
nothing he’d loved more than to spend his time doing so with friends & family.
Robert was an adored Son, Father, Grandpa, & Great Grandpa and friend to many.
He especially enjoyed trips to Danville, Ohio with the men of the family to go
hunting every year. Robert was also a beloved member of Beaver Creek
Sportsman’s Club in Oberlin, Ohio. Also he was a hard working truck driver for
45 years.


Robert is survived by his wife Pamela R. Thomson. His two daughters
Amy D. Smith Thomson (Husband Dennis Smith) and Morgan T. Thomson
(Single) and his son Nick R. Thomson (Wife Stacey Thomson). Grandsons: Eric
Jones, Dennis Jr. Smith, Austin Scheuer, Nicholas Thomson. Grand daughters
Jessica Jones & Paige Smith (Husband Russell Brandon). Great Grandchildren:
Colton Jones, Kinsley Jones, Eastin Jones, Jayden Jones, Violet Jones & Carson

Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at the Andras Crematory &
Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
