Timothy "Tim" M. Dimacchia, age 71 and a resident of Amherst, passed away
Saturday, January 12, 2018 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain.

Tim was born in Lorain, January 12, 1948 to the late John and Marie (nee
Povh) Dimacchia.  He was a 1966 graduate of Lorain High School.  Tim served
in the U.S. Army National Guard during 1966-1967.  Tim was a graduate of
Lorain County Community College, Kent State University where he received a
Bachelor of Accounting degree, and Cleveland State University where he
received a Masters Degree in Education.  For 30 years, Tim was a self
employed accountant working in Westlake.  Tim enjoyed socializing with
family and friends, and was especially fond of his pet dog Sophie.

Survivors include his life companion Natalie Neal of Amherst, sons Jason
(Kelly) Dimacchia of Rocky River and Joshua (Gordana) Dimacchia of
Strongsville, daughter Jennifer Dimacchia of North Olmsted, step-daughters
JoLynn (Andrew) Warner of Florida, Heather (Justin) Stuart of North
Carolina, Melanie (David) Schwartz of Florida, 13 grandchildren, sister
Nancy (Ken) Marovich of Maumee, and brother Richard (Rosemary) Dimacchia of

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sisters
Geraldine Vormilker and Marian Zeise, and brother Justin Dimacchia.

At Tim's request, all services will be private.  In Tim's honor, memorials
may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge
Road, Elyria, OH  44035.
