Alan L. Hackney, 69, of LaGrange, OH, passed away on August 26, 2023. He was born on April 25, 1954. Alan was a fun-loving and outgoing individual who had a real passion for cars and music.

Alan is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca "Becky" Hackney, and his children: Amber Hackney, Angela Garbutt (Justin), Megan Konopinski (Joe), and Mark Hackney (Jaida). He was also a loving grandfather to Henry, Ezekiel, Ben, Ellie, and Hazel.

Alan's father, Ferrell Hackney, and mother, Betty J Connolly, preceded him in death.

Alan dedicated his career to LTV Steel until 2000. He was a hardworking individual who took pride in his work.

In his free time, Alan enjoyed indulging in his hobbies, which included cars, music, wildlife, NASCAR, and supporting the BROWNS!

A Celebration of Life Party will be held at a later date to honor Alan's memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to any Cancer Foundations. Alan also supported St. Jude.
