Amber Gail Adkins, 45, of Elyria, passed away peacefully at Mercy Health New Life Hospice in Lorain on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, following a year-and-a-half illness.

Born in Elyria on December 13, 1980, she spent most of her life in the area. Amber attended Elyria schools and later earned her Medical Assisting degree.

Amber loved spending time with family and friends, fishing, bonfires, lottery, and casinos, and valued her relationship with God and Jesus.

Amber was preceded in death by her significant other, Ronald “Ronnie” Jackson Jr on June 28, 2026; mother Bonnie Campolo (nee Burgett), stepfather David Campolo, stepson Ronald Jackson III, paternal grandparents Clyde and Spicie (nee Richardson) Adkins, and maternal grandparents James and Shirley (nee Diederick) Burgett.

She is survived by her father Rick Adkins, stepmother Mary “DeeDee” Hughes, daughters Kaileyana and Brooklyn Jackson, stepdaughters Cheyenne and Shyla Jackson, sister Jennifer (Scott) O’Grady (nee Slusher), brother Ricky (Terra) Adkins Jr., stepsisters Ericka Worstell and Sara (Andrew) Enyart, stepbrother Alan “AJ” Worstell, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
