Anita D. Bodak (nee Nowicki), age 85 and a life resident of Lorain, passed
away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Kingston of Vermilion with her daughters
by her side.

Anita was born in Lorain, November 11, 1936 to the late Frank and Mary (nee
Chula) Nowicki. She attended Lorain High School and married in 1958. Anita
enjoyed cooking, especially for her family and in the past was a cook at St.
Peter School in Lorain. Most of all Anita loved being a grandma and great
grandma and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member
of St. Peter Catholic Church, Lorain.

Surviving are her daughters Cindy (Rick) Andrews of Lorain and Linda (Dan)
McCarty of Amherst, grandchildren; Erika (Dereck) Uitto, Mark Andrews
(Nicole Petry), Lauren McCarty (Chris Day), Alex (Shelby) McCarty, and great
grandchildren Veda Uitto and Ainsley Andrews.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband
Robert (2016) and sister Dorothy Wilczynski.

Private services are being held with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
