Barbara Lynn Giacopelli (nee Willbond) departed this world on November 14, 2024, in Amherst, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love that will forever remain in our hearts. Her vibrant spirit and infectious energy touched everyone she met. Barbara was a devoted mother to her sons, Michael and Daniel Giacopelli, whose achievements filled her with immense pride. Her deep bond with Chad Clark, her soulmate and partner of nearly 15 years, was a testament to her capacity for love and loyalty.

Barbara's life was a tapestry of cherished friendships, some spanning over four decades, reflecting her unwavering loyalty and warmth. Known for her zest for life, she embraced every moment with a smile and a laugh, often seeking out little adventures and delighting in the unexpected. Her ability to "figure it out" in the face of challenges was one of her many gifts.

Affectionately called "Frog" by those close to her, Barbara had a unique talent for making everyone feel special. Her gatherings, whether around a bonfire or at impromptu get-togethers, were filled with laughter and her captivating storytelling. Her welcoming nature, kindness, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Barbara found beauty in nature and was a true animal lover, living life to its fullest and inspiring others to do the same. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no traditional funeral. Instead, a celebration of her life will be held at her home at a later date, a fitting tribute to her love of a good party.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Michael and Daniel, her partner Chad, her children's father Charles Giacopelli, and her mother Peg Willbond. She was preceded in death by her brother Brian Willbond, father Richard Willbond, and stepmother Dee Willbond.
