Barbara "Barb" Ann Pitts (nee Ragsdale), age 73 and a resident of Lorain, passed away at her residence after a sudden illness on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

Barb was born September 3, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Betty (nee Carson) Ragsdale. In the past, Barb was employed as a nurses aid and worked at the former Bradley Road Nursing Home of Bay Village and then went on to complete her career at Oak Hills Nursing Home in Lorain. Throughout her life she enjoyed ceramic artwork and crocheting.

Survivors include her three daughters; Rhonda Pitts, Brenda (Frank) Rosalez, Susan Pitts, all of Lorain, five grandchildren; Khristie McKinney, Rodger McKinney, Hannah (Joshua) Glashauckas, Marriah (Shalamar) Thompson, Quentin Pitts, ten great grandchildren, and her sister Catherine Stevens of Amherst.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her brother and three sisters.

Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 5-7 p.m.
