Beatrice "Bea" R. Popovich (nee Hilenski), age 94 and a life resident of Lorain, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Kingston of Vermilion after a long life.

Bea was born in Lorain, May 30, 1928 to the late Stanley and Esther (nee Marciniak) Hilenski. She was a 1946 graduate of Lorain High School, attended Lorain County Community College and also Lorain County Joint Vocational School. Bea's career was spent as a cook for the Lorain City Schools for which she worked numerous years. All through her life she enjoyed cooking and baking.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Mary Kay and Ron Godsey of Lorain and her grandson Craig Popovich.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Popovich, sons Michael and Randy Popovich, and her grandson Troy Odom.
