Brandy Marie Elkins (Ross), age 49 of Lorain, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026 after a short illness.
Brandy was a lifelong resident of Lorain, She was born on January 13, 1977.
Brandy's greatest enjoyment in life was taking care of her beloved Grandaughter Lillian "Bean" as she called her; she was the center of her life, heart and happiness.
Brandy loved music, it was a very important part of her life; She loved to sing and had such a beautiful voice and was very talented in that area.
She touched many of people's lives with her singing. She loved to karaoke and sang at many of churches in Lorain over the years.
She even named her Daughter Lyric after her love for music.
Brandy always knew how to light up a room with both her enthusiasm and sense of humor. She always was a free-spirited individual, who tried to look at the brighter outcomes in life and enjoy it to the fullest. Brandy loved and enjoyed being around her family and friends; she will be deeply missed, yet never forgotten as she will forever live on in our memories we all shared together.
Brandy is survived by her Grandaughter Lillian Shareef, her Father Francisco "Junior" (Margaret) Gonzales, Brother Paul (Cynthia) Elkins, Sisters Rebecca (Mike) Stottlemire, Sheila (David) Kelley, Step Brothers-Montieve Gonzales, Francisco Gonzales, Guillermo Carlos Gonzales, Step Sister Elizabeth Gonzales. Her Nieces Amanda Geiger, Samantha Kelley, Desiree Bailey, Her Nephews Frank Stottlemire, Terrance Williams, Brandon Williams. As well as many more extended family members.
Brandy is proceeded in death by her Daughter Lyric Shaw, her Mother Opal Elkins, her Grandmothers Laura Harbert, Julia Gonzales and Grandfather Guillermo Gonzales.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM TO 7:00 PM at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain. Funeral Service will be officiated By Pastor Ray Smith at the funeral home,Tuesday, October 13,2026 at 12 NOON ,followed by a Funeral Procession to Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Family and Friends will then be received for fellowship and refreshments at Word Of Life Church 3008 Grove Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44055.
