Carmelo Rosa Fonseca Jr., age 68, of Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 18, 2025. He was born on July 21, 1957.

Carmelo was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Carmen Laviena and Sonia Vega.

He is survived by his loving children, Brandon Keith of Lorain and Michael Rosa of Elyria, and by his four cherished grandchildren, who brought him much pride and joy. He is also lovingly remembered by his father, Carmelo R. Fonseca Sr. of Lorain.

Carmelo leaves behind his siblings, Brenda Fonseca, Sandra Farley, Mary Gaines, Raymond Fonseca, Elizabeth Cordasci, and William Fonseca, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large extended family throughout Ohio.

Carmelo Jr. will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His laughter and love will live on in the lives he touched.

Services will be private at this time.  Celebration of Life will be announced in the future.
