Casandra "Cassie" Rae Calvert, aka Mama Cass and to many others, C-Baby, born February 7, 1990, was a lifelong resident of Lorain and passed away suddenly at the age of 34 on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Casandra was born and raised in Lorain where she attended Lorain City Schools.  Cassie loved dancing and fashion and being outside, mostly at the beach.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, most of all her six beautiful children.  Her children were her life.  Cassie worked at Burger King where she became a manager at a young age.  Cassie was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and had a beautiful spirit that lit up a room.  To know Cassie was to love her.

Casandra is survived by her six children; Kamron 15, Zyonnah 12, A'Zaiah 10, LaMyra 8, Carlos Jr. 7, and Chance 2, her mother Kimberly, sisters Tana "Sissy" and Christina "Chrissy", nephew Richard, along with three nieces and a nephew, her maternal grandma, and also many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father Austin, paternal grandparents Phyllis and Larry, maternal grandfather Dave, and paternal uncles Pat and Chris.

Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain, from 6-8 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024.
