Cathleen L. Alston, age 66, and a resident of Lorain passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Cathleen enjoyed spending time with her family especially going to the Bingo, and playing cards. In her free time, she loved watching sports, and soap operas, but nothing would fill her heart more with love and joy than being with her family.

She is survived by her children Rachael (Matt) Schilla and Daniel Potter both of Lorain, her grandchildren Ashley, Matthew II, and Shawn, her mother Shirley (nee Tucker) Benson, her siblings Steve (Laurie) Benson, Mike (Shirley) Benson, Julie (Tom) Aaron, her many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father David Benson, her daughter Ashley Potter, and her twin sister Christine St. Croix.
