Cynthia Marie Lauck, a lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at UH St. John Medical Center, Westlake.

Throughout her life, Cindy was a registered nurse and had been employed at the former Elyria Memorial Hospital, the Cleveland Psychiatric Institute, and completed her nursing career in the psychiatric unit of the Grafton Prison. She enjoyed helping others and traveling to foreign lands. Most important to her was spending time with family and friends.

She will be missed by her sister Denise Lauck-Putnoky, her brother and sister-in-law Alan and Kim Lauck, nephews; Ryan, Kyle, Joey (Allie), Stephen (Phoebe), her niece Heather, great nephews Christopher and Noah, and great nieces Ellen, Sophia, and Josie.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents William A. and Donna M. (nee Sheak) Lauck, brother William R. Lauck, and brother-in-law Emery Putnoky.

Family will receive friends 10 a.m until 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with burial following in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
