Dana Lynn Lunn, aged 70 years old, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 23, 1953 in Lorain, Ohio to Oscar and Dallie Wilson. She proudly resided in the city of Lorain her entire life. She is survived by her companion of many years, James Faust and her five children: James Edward (Gail) Shafer, Dallie Ann (Chris Mclain) Farley, Daniel Wayne (Tina) Shafer, Jesse Aaron (Nicole) Shafer, and Aaron Lee Shafer. Along with her sister Karen Sue (Benard) Conroy. She was a grandmother of twenty-two grandchildren: Allison (William) Parks, Alex Shafer, Jared Shafer, Megan Shafer, Landen Shafer, Jordan Farley, Kayla (Elias) Alvarado, Isabella (Fidencio) Rosado, Chloe Farley, Joslynn Gonzalez, Johnalee Velez, Nathan (Vanessa) Shafer, Eric (Alyssa) Shafer, Jonathan (Maili) Friend, Jessica Friend, Sarah Shafer, Jayden Shafer, Austin Shafer, Owen Shafer, Abel Shafer, Byrce Shafer, and Avianna Shafer. She was also a great grandmother of ten and an aunt to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar James and Dallie Helen Wilson; her sister Barbara Jean Blackburn; her brother George Allen Wilson; and her two grandchildren Janelle Lynn Farley and Gabriel Wayne Shafer.
She was a fun and free spirit who loved to go camping and spend time outdoors watching what nature has to offer. She was always ready to have a good time and loved listening to music. She lived life on the edge and always loved to laugh. She enjoyed fishing, watching WWE wrestling, and was an avid Cleveland Brown fan. She loved watching the Cleveland Browns games with her family. She also enjoyed playing online video games such as Candy Crush, Coin Master, and Monopoly Go. She was always willing to help anyone in need, even during her hardest times. She was knowledgeable and very witty with her thoughts and had the best home remedies for anything. She was well loved and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held July 26, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm and service will be held 7:00pm-8:00pm at Broadway Assembly Church, located at 5495 Broadway Ave Lorain, OH 44052. In lieu of flowers, please consider cash donations.
