David G. Woody, age 81 and a resident of Lorain passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

David was born October 31, 1941 in Morgantown, West Virginia and moved to Lorain when he was 16 years old to find employment. He also served in the United States Army. David enjoyed family, friends, and animals.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Woody, daughters Michelle Perrigan (Roger), Dreamelee Lute, Renee Regal, son Brian, two step-sons Larry and Lonney Pitts, 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, his sister Kay and brothers Les and Tim.

The family would like to thank Mercy New Life Hospice for their kind care extended to David.
