Dean Harvey, known as the warrior of his family, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, July 12, 2024 at the age of 59.

Dean was born in Cleveland on August 31, 1964 to loving parents Howard and Lillian (nee Vargo) Harvey.  He was a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School, Amherst. Throughout his life, Dean was a dry wall installer by trade. He loved horses, horseback riding, riding the various motorcycles he had during his lifetime, dining out with his children, and fishing. Dean was known for his singing voice.  He was a member of Amherst Eagles Aerie 1442.  He was a retired member of Ohio Carpenters Union Local 435.

Survivors include his wife Christina, his daughter and son Sarah and Brian Harvey, step-sons Joshua and Jesse Crum, and sisters Jonelle West and Elaine Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Lillian Harvey.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
