Dean L. Hill, age 66 and a lifelong resident of Amherst, passed away surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 after a long illness.

Dean was born in Amherst, August 8, 1959 to Leonard A. and Frances H. (nee Patterson) Hill. He attended Marion L. Steele High School and was a member of The Class of 1978.  Most of his working life he was employed as a laborer and spent his later adult life as a caretaker of his parents. He loved fishing and camping, building puzzles and playing cards.

Survivors include his four children; Matt Fowler of Lorain, Aliesha Glasen (Kevin) of Lorain, Britany Arroyo (Crystal) of Lorain, Megan Hill (Charles) of Columbus, seven grandchildren, brothers Darryl Hill of Amherst and Duane (Julie) Hill of Amherst, sister Laurel (John) Shulski of South Amherst, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother David Hill (1999).

Friends will be received Friday, September 19, 2025 from 5 - 8 pm at  the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
