On September 19, 2023 Debra Lynn Casteel (nee Reeves) of Elyria passed away at the age of 62.  She battled multiple myeloma for five years until she lost the battle.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Charles and Carol Reeves.

She is survived by her sisters Starr (Joe) Neil, Diane (Steve) Vandergriff, her brother Chuck Reeves Jr., daughters Crystal (Buddy) Ramsey, Tonya (Robert) Barker, Carol Kimble, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild, two nieces, and two nephews.

Debra was a Midview High School graduate and a proud worker at the former York International in Elyria.  She loved to make homemade wreaths and crafts, enjoyed home decorating and working with her flowers and plants in the garden.  Debra also loved to cook home made meals and spend time with her family.

She will be peacefully surrounded by her family and friends for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at her childhood home, the residence of 211 Oakwood Street, Elyria from 2 6 p.m.  All are welcome to join in the celebration of her life.
