Dennis James Kalinoski, aged 82, of Elyria, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Born on September 21, 1943, Denny spent his childhood in Strongsville, Ohio, alongside his five brothers. He cherished his conversations with family and friends, always finding joy in connecting with loved ones.

A passionate supporter of the Cleveland Browns and Guardians, Denny brought enthusiasm to every game. He dedicated many years to his career at USG, retiring in 2001.

Denny is reunited in spirit with his mother, Catherine; father, Stanley; and brothers, Ken and Tom. He is survived by his remaining brothers, Jim, John, and Tim, along with his four children: David Kalinoski, Denise (Joe) Dobbins, Mickey (Michelle) Rister, and Heather (Eric) Herschler. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Doug Dobbins, Kyle Dobbins, Kayla McCartey, Corey Herschler, Lucas Herschler, Maryssa Brown, Breanna Cochran, Stacey Kalinoski, Brittany Kalinoski, Allen Rister, Austin Rister, and Owen Rister as well as 25 great-grandchildren.

Join us in honoring Denny’s life at a Celebration of Life service on April 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The service will take place at the Colonial Oaks Recreation Center, located at 10425 Middle Ave., Elyria, Ohio 44035.
