Denzil "Junior" Ray Wright Jr., age 67, and lifelong resident of Lorain, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024, after a brave and courageous battle with a lengthy illness.

Denzil was born August 3, 1957 to Denzil Ray Wright Sr., and Lillian Calvert in Lorain, Ohio at St. Joseph Hospital. Denzil worked for Crown Steel from 1978 until retiring in 2009. When Denzil was not working he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also had a passion for classic cars. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his personal time. Also, was an avid Cleveland sports fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a daughter Tanya (Jamison) Wyrick of Lorain, Ohio; a son Gary (Jennifer) of Lorain, Ohio; sisters Ruth DeBerry of Lorain, Ohio, Audrey (Duane) Russell of Indiana and Karen Wright of Florida; Brothers William " Butch" (Brenda) Wright of Amherst, Ohio, Danny Wright of Tennessee, Michael (Abigail) Wright of Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Denzil was preceded in death by his parents Denzil Sr., and Lillian Calvert, a sister Margaret Blankenship, brother Jerry Wright, and brother-in-law Roger DeBerry (who was more of a brother).

All Services will be Private.
