Donald S. Toth, Sr., of Amherst, born on July 23, 1955, passed away peacefully at Mercy Health in Lorain on April 4, 2025, at the age of 69.

Donald dedicated 15 years of his career to US Steel in Lorain and later served as a Project Manager for RLR Construction in Amherst for another 15 years. His commitment and dedication to his work contributed to the development of numerous subdivisions throughout the city of Amherst.

In his retirement, Donald enjoyed landscaping and working outdoors, finding peace and fulfillment in nature. He was a pillar of the Amherst English Lakes Condominium Community, where he was known for his friendly conversations and his willingness to lend a helping hand.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Ida Toth of Lorain.

He is survived by his two children, Donald of Amherst and Brian of Vermilion, Brian's wife Megan (née Strittmather), and his grandchildren: Grayson and Brooklyn, children of Donald Toth; and Quinn, Connor, and Cohen, children of Brian and Megan Toth. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Heimerl, his brother David Toth, and David's wife Barbara (née Jasper), all of Amherst.

Everyone who knew Donald will cherish the way he always brought the room to infectious laughter, along with the countless funny memories they shared with him.
