Frank E. Arquillo, age 68, passed away on September 9, 2026, following a recent battle with cancer.

Frank was born on January 27, 1958, to Rocco and Mary (née Bowers) Arquillo. Throughout his life, Frank was a man who knew how to work with his hands, solve problems, and do things his own way. He spent his career as an echocardiography technician before retiring, but his talents extended well beyond his profession. An accomplished mechanic, Frank had a natural ability to understand how things worked and a knack for fixing just about anything.

That same independent nature was a defining part of who Frank was. He was proud, strong-willed, and, to those who knew him well, undeniably stubborn. He knew his own mind and was not easily persuaded otherwise. Frank was very much his own person, and those who shared his life knew there was no mistaking him for anyone else.

Alongside that strong personality were the simple things that brought Frank enjoyment and gave him a way to share himself with others. He loved to cook, often preparing meals that paid homage to his Italian heritage. Food was more than something he prepared—it was a way of sharing a piece of where he came from and keeping alive the traditions that were important to him.

Family was another meaningful part of Frank's life. He was a father and grandfather, and some of the memories his daughter, April, carries with her come from the years they spent together in Florida. There were days spent jet skiing, afternoons at the beach and in the family pool, and family trips to Disney and Universal Studios. These moments became part of the memories that remain long after the years themselves have passed.

Frank also took great pride in his grandchildren, Kailey, Trystan, and Kristopher. They remained an important part of his life and his story, and the memories they made together will continue to be a part of his family's history.

Frank's life, like all lives, was made up of many different chapters. Relationships can change with time, circumstances can create distance, and family stories are not always simple. Yet the passage of time does not erase the moments that came before. The memories remain—in sunny Florida days, family vacations, Italian meals prepared at home, things repaired by Frank's capable hands, and the everyday moments shared along the way.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco and Mary Arquillo, and his brothers, John, Larry, and Tom.

He is survived by his daughter, April Hoopes (Arquillo); his grandchildren, Kailey, Trystan, and Kristopher; his brother, Dennis; and his sister, Annette Reisner (Arquillo).

Frank leaves behind a life that cannot be summed up by any single description. He was a son, father, grandfather, brother, mechanic, cook, and a man who was unmistakably his own person. He will be remembered through the stories, traditions, places, and memories that remain with those who knew him, and especially through the moments that made him uniquely Frank.
