Georgia M. Vazquez, age 64, and a resident of Lorain, returned to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 after a long 10 year battle with Ovarian Cancer and other complications.

In addition to her parents Joyce and Carl Stanley she is preceded in deathber her first son Joshua.

Survived by her husband of 43 years, Aaron Vazquez, her sons Nicholas and Benjamin Vazquez, her sisters Joy Funk and Patricia Newsom, her brothers Albert Stanley and Robert Welsh, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Georgia was beautiful inside and out. She loved and got along with everyone. She loved teaching Sunday School for nearly 30 years. She loved church activities, homeschooling, and scrapbooking with close friends and family. She loved me, our sons unconditionally, even to her last breath. I didn't deserve her, yet God blessed me with her, and for that I am thankful!

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
