Georgina "Gina" Faith Ody, age 67, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, from a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Lorain, Ohio, on September 26, 1958. She was a homemaker who was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who loved music, dancing, butterflies, planting flowers, and most importantly, spending time with her family.

Her survivors include her lifelong husband of 46 years, William Ody, her daughter Melissa (Richard Jr.) Bryner, her sons Jeffrey Ody, and Brandon (Shamika) Ody, and her grandchildren Riana Bryner and Ana Hendricks.

Preceded in death by her mother, Riana Strnad, her brother, Louis Strnad, and her sister, Susan Lovas.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her beautiful heart, smile, and her generosity.

The family would like to invite all family, friends, and loved ones to her Celebration of Life, which will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM til 1:00 PM at Point of Grace Ministries, 6892 Lake Ave., Elyria, OH 44035.
