Took flight to be with the Lord, Jackie Partin Jr., age 55, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, after a valiant struggle with liver cancer. Born in Elyria and raised in Vermilion, Jackie embodied strength and resilience throughout his life.

Jackie dedicated many years to his work, with notable stints at K&N Eatery and six years in Webster Springs, West Virginia, where he was employed at The Custard Stand and Chili Food Products. His warm spirit and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jackie Sr. and Lucinda E. Partin (nee Huber); his cherished wife, Cindy Partin (nee Tharp); and his beloved daughter, Bethani Lyn Partin, who is 15 weeks pregnant with Jackie’s first grandchild. He also leaves behind his future son-in-law, Patrick Whitehouse, and his siblings, Gale (Susan) Partin and Adam (Lisa) Partin. Jackie will be missed by his cat Kiki, his brother-in-law Elvin (Heather) Tharp, and William Reed and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

Jackie was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother-in-law Shirley Jean Tharp, sister-in-law Jacqueline Jean Reed, and best friend Jon Dewitt. His profound love for the Lord was evident to all who met him, and he served as an inspiration to many. Jackie’s loving nature and unwavering faith touched countless lives, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
