Jaclyn “Jackie” Lara, age 47, and a resident of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Jackie was known for being exceptionally intelligent and a lifelong lover of books; she cherished the feel of a handheld book in her hands. She had a deep appreciation for the arts and expressed herself through music and doodles, often found with pen and paper, singing songs, and making jokes that brought joy to those around her.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Mayra, and her sister, Jessica, and was supported throughout her life by an immensely loving family.

A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, with a luncheon to follow at the chapel.
