IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline "Jackie"
Jean Ferguson
November 12, 1959 – June 16, 2025
Jacqueline "Jackie" Ferguson, age 65, lifelong resident of Lorain, bravely battled cancer three times and after her third battle took her from Earth on June 16, 2025.
Born on November 12, 1959, to Robert and Marilyn Ferguson, Jackie grew up in Lorain and proudly graduated from Admiral King High School. She pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school, becoming a well-loved hair stylist in her community. Later, she dedicated several years to United Properties.
Jackie was a beacon of kindness and compassion, always going above and beyond for others. She embraced life with joy and tenacity, refusing to let cancer define her spirit.
She is survived by her beloved son, Todd Ferguson, and her cherished granddaughter, Trinity Ferguson, who were the lights of her life. Preceding her in death were her parents and her dear Aunt Gene Ann Dolde. Jackie is also survived by her brother, Jay (Mary Jo) Ferguson; sisters Beth (Chris) Hilko and Lynn Ferguson (Bob Laney, dec.); along with several nieces and nephews who adored her.
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, June 23, from 5 to 7 PM at the IAV, located at 4567 Oberlin Ave in Lorain.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to her devoted friends, Bonnie Edwards, Madeline, and Lovie Roldan, for their unwavering support.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Jackie's honor be made to the American Cancer Society.
