James Calvin Spoonamore, age 82, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.

James enjoyed sharing and telling stories and especially ones about his 53' Chevy Impala. He also enjoyed spending his time with his family.

James Spoonamore is survived by his children; Sheila Zolnai of Lorain , Tom (Lori) Buchanan of Pennfield, Gary (Amanda) Spoonamore of Florida; his grandchildren April Hembree of Elyria, Kenneth " Willie" Hembree of Elyria, Albert Solensky of Elyria, Charlie Zolnai of Lorain, Stephanie Zolnai of Lorain, Logan Zolnai of Lorain, Lee Zolnai of Lorain, Lennon Zolnai of Lorain, Tommy Buchanan of Elyria, Joshua Buchanan of Wellington, Grace Buchanan of Wellington, Sam Buchanan of Penfield, Andrew Spoonamore of Los Angeles, Andrea Spoonamore of Los Angeles; many great grandchildren, sister Anna King of Vermilion, sister-in-law Mary Bell Golden of Burningham, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanina Mae, his parents Thomas and Eunice Spoonamore, his brothers David Mack, and Thomas, and his sisters Myrtle Florence, Ruth and Elizabeth.

Family will receive friends and family at Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Ave., Lorain on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 4 - 8 P.M.
