Joanne Jones, 84, a cherished matriarch, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Born on August 2, 1940, in Medford, Massachusetts, she was raised in a Catholic family and attended St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lorain.

Joanne dedicated many years to serving her community as a clerk at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and later retired from Dollar General. Her love for family and a passion for cooking brought joy to those around her, creating lasting memories.

In addition to her parents John and Freda Haggerty (nee Kayser), she is preceded in death by her first husband Donald Love, second husband Pete Jones, her grandson Donald Love III, her brother John Haggerty, and sister Janet Haggerty.

She is survived by her son, Donald Love Jr; her grandchildren Laura Love-Garza and Derek Love, great granddaughter Kaysley Garza and her brother Paul Haggerty. Joanne also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews: Patricia Haggerty-Crowe, Jason Haggerty, Nicole Haggerty, Raelene Haggerty, Jannell Haggerty, James Haggerty, and Karamah Haggerty-McNair

A Memorial Service will held at a later date to honor her beautiful life and legacy.
