Obituary

John Michael Buderer, age 74, of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born on February 2, 1950, to the late John Irvin and Wilma Jean (nee Gall) Buderer  in Sandusky, Ohio.

John graduated from Western Reserve High School in 1968 and continued on to the Air Force from 1969 to 1973. During his time in the Air Force, he was able to pursue his love of playing baseball. John was loyal and hardworking. He held various jobs in the auto parts industry, and later worked for the Day Piston Company in Cleveland for 36 years. John cherished many of the friendships he made there.

John settled in Northeast Ohio with his family. He was a compassionate, caring, and loving father, grandfather, and friend. Everyone who knew John knew that his love of animals had no bounds. Whether it was an injured goose, a stray litter of kittens, or a wayward turtle, John would do all he could to save, feed, or rescue them.  John was an avid sports fanatic and would never miss an opportunity to take one of his kids or grandkids to a High School football, baseball, or basketball game.

John will be deeply missed by his loving fiancé, Lenda; children, Aimee, John (Tina), Jenny (Joe), Matthew(Rebecca), and Tyler; step-children, Melissa, Bud, Becky, and Tiffanny (Michael II); grandchildren, Natalia (Travis), Chris (Kim), Brad (Kayla), Zakary, Bryce, Henry, Bennett, TJ, Christian, Mason (Zahabiah), Alaxandria, Breanna, Josh, Brittany, Michael III, Tana, Katin, McKenzie, and Camren; his brother, Robert; and many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his stepmother, Winefred; brother, Dean; sister, Ginny; first wife, Susan; and second wife, Andrea.
