John A. Farmer, age 76, and a lifelong resident of New London passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 6, 2024.

John was born and raised in New London by his parents, Jack and Vondale Farmer. He worked as a communication technician throughout his life until he suffered a stroke in 2009. He enjoyed operating the Ham radio. Despite his health challenges, he maintained a quick sense of humor and a positive attitude, contributing to joy among his family and friends. His faith and activity as one of Jehovah's Witnesses enhanced his bright spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Goldie Farmer of New London; sister, Nan (Richard) Mierzwiak of Toledo; nephew, Aaron (Kristen) Mierzwiak and his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosabelle.

Friends are invited to visit on September 21, 2024, at the Birmingham Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6001 OH-60, Wakeman, OH 44889 from 3-4 pm with a Memorial Service to follow.
