John H. Schmidt, age 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Monday, January 9, 2023.

He was born in Lorain, OH to the late Kingdon M. Schmidt & Barbara A. Ellis.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, looking into genealogy, reading and an avid Sci-Fi buff. He had an immense love for music, especially playing his guitar and listening to Classic Rock.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years Lisa Schmidt (nee Jackson), his sisters, Terry (Charles) Taylor, Scheryl (Robert) Hubbard, Robin (Darrell) Newman, Tamala (Bob) Kuehne, a host of favorite nieces and nephews and extended family. John will be missed by his loyal companions Tito and Londyn.
