Joseph A. Cabrera, age 46, passed away at Avon Cleveland Clinic Hospital on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, following a lengthy illness. His parents, Jose and Denise Cabrera, were by his side in his final moments as he passed.

Joseph was born on March 10, 1980. He graduated from Lorain Catholic High School in 1998 and earned two associate degrees in Web Design and Graphic Arts.

He worked at Vitamix for over ten years, focusing on direct household and international sales, as well as providing digital support. Joseph was highly knowledgeable about the products the company sold and often assisted with training sessions.

An avid Cleveland Browns fan, he enjoyed listening to sports podcasts and playing online video games, as well as participating in role-playing board games.

Joseph is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Judy and Walter Szefyck, paternal grandmother Leonor Villarreal, and his uncles Gerald W. Neal and Angel Cabranes.

He leaves behind his parents, Jose and Denise Cabrera, in addition to many aunts, uncles, and cousins to cherish his memory.

Per his wishes, services were held privately, with his final resting place at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain.
