Loretta Mae Rodriguez ( nee Litz), age 72, and a resident of Sheffield Lake passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 21, 1952, in Lorain to Thomas and Ruby Litz.

Loretta loved to read, being with her animals Caterina and Bear who were always by her side, and her chocolate (especially chocolate ice cream) but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas "Red" and Ruby Litz (nee Martin).

Loretta is survived by her children, Michelle (Carlos) Castro, Mary Rodriguez, and Crystal Rodriguez; grandchildren, Amber Rodriguez, Jose Gonzalez, Selena Gonzalez, Evalees Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren, Nivea, Alijah, Alexjandro, Aydan, Eliyanah, and Kayleigh. Her siblings, Elaine (Ed) Meosky, Tom (Connie) Litz, Jeff (Dawna) Litz, Robert (Cheryl) Litz, Butch (Shelby) DeCredico, Louie (Ernie) DeCredico and Sharon Litz.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 4:00p.m. at Valley of the Eagles Event Center, 1100 Gulf Rd, Elyria, Ohio 44035.
