Lori E. Buchanan (nee DeWitt), age 54 and a resident of Penfield Township, passed away at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Lori was born October 9, 1969 in Elyria to the late Russ and Beverly DeWitt. She was a 1988 graduate of the former Elyria West High School.  Throughout her life Lori was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years Tom W. Buchanan and their four children; Tommy Buchanan of Wellington, Joshua (Aleisha) Buchanan of Wellington, Elizabeth "Grace" Buchanan of Wellington, and Samuel Buchanan of Penfield Township.  She is also survived by her sisters Linda (Richard) West of Amherst and Shelly (Ted) Chase of Vermilion, brothers John DeWitt of Elyria and David (Carrie) DeWitt of Amherst, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Kim DeWitt.

Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5-7 p.m.
