Louise Janet Cruz, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, in Westlake, Ohio.

Born in Canada on November 16, 1950, to the late Newman and Rita Rolfe, Louise lived a life filled with warmth and devotion to those she loved.

Above all else, Louise’s heart belonged to her beloved dog, Nova. The bond they shared brought her endless joy, comfort, and companionship, and Nova was truly a cherished center of her life.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Newman and Rita Rolfe; her sister, Nancy; her son, Joey Meza; and her son-in-law, John Allen.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, James Cruz; her daughters, Wendy Allen and Mary Black; her grandchildren, Cory Allen, Jacob Allen, and Aiden Allen-Morman; her sweet dog, Nova; and many other dear family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louise's honor to a local animal shelter in celebration of her devotion to animals.

Memorial Services will be determined at a later date.
