Lyric Shaw, age 25 and a life resident of Lorain, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.

Lyric was born in Lorain on June 16, 1998.  She enjoyed all aspects of art, from makeup and clothing, to being an amazing artist whose joy was drawing. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting FunkoPops!  Lyric's favorite past time  was playing video games and she especially enjoyed Kingdom Hearts.  She had a deep love of singing, dancing, and nothing less than music.

Lyric is survived by her mother Brandy "Elkins" Ross, step-father Jamal Ross, father Brian Shaw, her only daughter Lillian Shareef who is seven years old, maternal grandfather Francisco Gonzalez "JR" and Margaret Gonzalez, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, will all miss her dearly.

Lyric is preceded in death by her grandmothers Opal Elkins and Susan Shaw, great grandmothers Laura Harbert and Mary Combs, great grandfathers James Webb and Shelby Combs, and her cousin Molly Kasmeski.

Family will receive friends at the Word of Life Church, 3800 Grove Avenue, Lorain on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.  Pastor Ray Smith will officiate with burial following in Ridge
Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
